Role purpose:
To lead the strategy development and strategy implementation in the region. The role will include:
- Driving the balanced scorecard for the region in the form of a Strategic Agenda and the Large western country and area Business Reviews.
- Supporting targeted country-specific scenario or strategic plans and the development of the Strategic Agendas for the region.
- Develop and manage actionable and insightful competitive and market intelligence, including regional market research initiative.
For the forthcoming 6 - 12 months, the implementation of the business foresight, topical reviews and the change management, will be a central task in this role.

Strategy
- Plans and leads the implementation of the regional Strategic Agenda
- Works with the country and area leadership team to develop the strategy (Strategic Agenda).
- Organizes the business Reviews (a.k.a. Topical Reviews)
- Manages the communication and the change connected with Strategic Agenda in the region

Organization
- Reviews business procedures and implement improvements in the region

Management
- Manages the collection and interpretation of market data & to provide strategic business & market foresight.
Other possible accountabilities (depending on the regional needs and chosen emphasis of the position):
- To manage the 5 year planning process
- To lead the business intelligence in the STF pillar in the Strategic Agenda
- Prepare the ELT and RLT
