Cargill Sugar Business Unit  is involved in the origination, shipping, trading, refining and distribution of raw and refined sugar worldwide as well as ethanol. We create value for our customers through investments in safe handling, distribution and milling of sugar. Cargill Sugar has been in existence since 1965 and our headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland . However we operate  in 22 locations with over 265 employees.
We are present in Switzerland, Holland, Egypt, Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, US. We are involved in domestic markets in the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, South America and Asia. In South Brazil, we operate a Bulk & Bag sugar loading facilities in Guaruja and Santos. Today, Cargill is a leading marketer of sugar to the world destinations with over 30 % marketshare.
In conjunction with the Cargill Trade Structuring division and Risk Management Group, Cargill Sugar is able to offer unique price hedging, risk management tools beyond the quoted futures market. Very flexible hedging instruments can be tailored to fit even the most complicated situations.
