APM Terminals – Cargo Service A/S is looking for an experienced Business Supporter to join APM Terminals at the port of Aarhus. APM Terminals is an independent company within the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group with world headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands. Our core business is the ownership, operation and management of container terminals and value-added services such as container repair.

As business supporter you will work in close cooperation with management of different departments at APM Terminals, as you will be a driving force in change processes across departments.

With reference to Head of Finance you will be a part of a dynamic and well-operating Finance Department with good opportunities for career development.


Key Responsibilities
• Business support to management team (ao. conduct financial calculations/validations of business proposals).
• Data analysis, profitability analysis etc. with the purpose of optimizing business
• Participate in – and manage own – PEX (lean) projects

• Procedure and process mapping as well as suggestions to production optimization
• Facilitation of outsourcing projects (BPO) and implementation of Finance BPO-projects
• Implementing and improving Finance IT systems

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate can work independently and thrive with a dynamic environment. As business supporter at APM Terminals it will be important, that you are analytical with a good sense of details and have solid communication skills. Experience with continuous improvements will be an advantage. We expect that you have a background as candidate within economics, engineering or similar and have minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience. You may have experience with IFS or other ERP systems. You have of course a sound understanding of the economic side to business, you have a natural flair for IT systems and you are fluent in Danish and English
