Overview of GSK and the Esprit programme

JC is currently the global leader of one of the key portfolio at GSK vaccines. He has a scientific background, an MBA from HEC Paris and more than 20 years of experience leading organizations in multiple US, European and International markets, and has worked in manufacturing, R&D, Business development and a variety of sales and marketing roles. 
Being a global leader focussing on delivering outcomes, JC has had results and leadership achievements in very different cultural environments (France, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, USA, Global). Over the years, JC has had successful experiences in general management with direct P&L responsibility, delivering top line growth and bottom line performance while developing people, driving engagement and building strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.  
With a strong business orientation and a clear focus on patients, JC has demonstrated success in launching products and life cycle management in general pharmaceuticals as well as in specialty businesses.

Timothy currently supports GSK Vaccines’ R&D portfolio as the Clinical Evidence Generation Finance Partner.  Previously he worked in U.S. Pharma Gross-to-Net Strategy, where he provided strategic contracting and pricing guidance regarding the $8B+ G2N adjustment. Prior to this, he held a role in U.S. Consumer Healthcare during the finalization of the Novartis joint venture.
Timothy graduated with honors and merit from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Mathematics. He completed his graduate education at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Bioengineering.  Before joining GSK, Timothy served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy.

AJ is currently in his 3rd year in the US Commercial Esprit Program and is based out of Durham, NC, USA.

In his current rotation at ViiV Healthcare, AJ is the Brand Manager on a new medicine expected to launch later this year.

AJ spent his 2nd rotation with GSK as the Multi-Channel Marketing Lead in the Belgium LOC managing a team of 6 people to embed non-traditional/digital channels within the BeLux selling mix. For his 1st rotation, AJ was the Marketing Manager for Payer New Products in Durham, NC, USA where he was responsible for shaping the payer evidence for optimal access for multiple new pipeline products in development.

Before getting his MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill and joining GSK, AJ spent three years at Baxter Healthcare where he was responsible for a small team in Quality & Regulatory Affairs. He was responsible for delivering productivity gains in a manufacturing environment and defending quality assurance practices during multiple audits by the FDA.

A focus on Consumer Healthcare at GSK

Jenny is in her second year of the GSK Consumer Health Commercial Esprit programme. During her first rotation, she worked in GB Sales as an account manager for one of the largest customers, as well as setting up a new customer-facing role in the GB Supply Chain team. In her second rotation, she is Chief of Staff to the General Manager for Northern Europe, leading strategic projects and responsible for the operating rhythm of the Area leadership team.

Before joining GSK,  Jenny graduated from London Business School’s MBA with a Distinction, having also completed internships with L’Oreal, Johnson & Johnson and Real Handful, a snacking start-up. Prior to her MBA, Jenny spent 9 years working in marketing and communications in financial services and business education.

A year ago Yana has joined GlaxoSmithKline for the ESPRIT program as a Group Brand Manager responsible for Nasal & Allergy category development in Russia.

Alessandro is currently in his first year of the GSK Consumer Healthcare Esprit Programme. He is working as Brand Manager in the Pain Relief category, with full responsibiliy for the design and execution of the Italian marketing strategy for Voltaren, GSK's main OTC brand in Italy.

Before joining GSK, Alessandro worked for 5+ years as a Marketing Manager in the energy industry, getting a solid record in leading design, development and marketing of new products in a fast paced market.

Alessandro holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a M.Eng. with full marks from Politecnico di Milano.
