H1B Sponsorship for Business Profiles in the USA

In our second H1B Sponsorship 2018 Business Profile Report, we have explored all the 541,555 H1B Sponsorships data, and filtered it down to only keep business profiles information. Within our International Section, you can search and filter 46,922 H1B Sponsorships for business profiles, filter by state, functional area, job title, and employer name.

This article focuses on the USA Overview.

Out of the 12 employers that most sponsored H1B visas in 2018, 6 are in the Consulting Industry (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, PWC, Cognizant, Infosys, KPMG).

Additionally, the average salary for over 75% of the H1B applications were in the $50K - $100K per year. This includes two of the top job titles: Business Analyst, and Associate, with average salaries of $74K and $87K respectively.

Out of the top 10 functional areas, 3 stand out with a salary range between $100K - $150K:
- Marketing Managers ($126K).
- Financial Managers ($138K).
- General and Operations Managers ($105K).

Finally, concerning the top locations, most of the H1B Sponsored jobs were located in:
- New York with 11,069 applications, followed by
- California with 10,396 applications, and
- Texas with 3,821 applications.
These 3 states alone represent over half of the total H1B sponsorships across the USA! The next top 10 states in terms of H1B applications are:
- New Jersey (3,019),
- Illinois (2,142),
- Massachusetts (2,102),
- Washington (1,689),
- Florida (1,509),
- Pennsylvania (1,340),
- Virginia (1,118).
