Alira Health - SDA Bocconi Case Competition

SDA Bocconi Healthcare Club and Alira Health are proud to announce the second annual case competition with healthcare orientation. This competition will challenge the brightest students from the world's top business schools in a case revolving around the healthcare industry. It is a great chance for students to collaborate, learn, develop, and network while working on an actual industry case with industry leaders.

Description
Alira Health joins SDA Bocconi School of Management to challenge students from top business schools across the world. They will be invited to participate in the second annual Alira Health & SDA Bocconi Healthcare Case Competition. Industry leaders and management students will collaborate together on an actual industry case. The objective of this case competition is to learn, share, network and innovate.

Students will be expected to form teams of 2-5 full-time students enrolled in either MBAs of Healthcare Management masters with diverse backgrounds and solve a business case.
In the initial phase, the case will be distributed and collected on October 8, teams will be selected and invited to SDA Bocconi in Milan on November 23 and 24 to participate in the finals.

Case Competition Rules

- 27th September 2018: Registration opens
- The eligibility criteria: students must be pursuing an MBA or Healthcare Management degree.
- Each team must consist of up to 5 (no less than 2) members.
- We recommend teams with mixed profiles (MBA and Healthcare Management) so that you achieve more spherical approaches and better results.
- All eligible registered teams will receive the business case and the relevant guidance after the closure of the registrations.
- Each team will be sending an initial proposal with their assessment of the case and recommendations respecting the deadlines indicated below.
- The selected teams with the strongest initial drafts will be identified by the industry jury panel.
- They will be invited to SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan for two days (23 & 24 November) to compete in the final rounds with the guidance of industry professionals.
- The challenge winner will be announced before the closing ceremony on Day 2 and will receive a prize of 4,000 euros.
- During your stay in Milan, industry representatives from the sponsoring companies will interview candidates with profiles interesting to them.

- 12th October 2018: Registration closes
- 13th October 2018: Case distribution to eligible teams
- 29th October 2018: Case submission
- 4th November 2018: Announcement of finalists
