About the Organization & Performance (O&P) Practice
At L.E.K. Consulting, our Organization & Performance (O&P) practice empowers clients to align their organizational structures and operations with strategic objectives, driving sustainable growth and enhanced performance.
Within our O&P practice, our Operations & Supply Chain team supports clients in evolving their supply chain strategies and improving performance across the end-to-end supply chain. We specialize in six core capabilities.
* Supply chain strategy: Designing supply chain models aligned to business goals-optimizing footprint, operating model, and capabilities to drive efficiency and growth.
* Planning: Improving demand forecasting, S&OP, and inventory management to enhance supply-demand alignment and decision-making.
* Procurement: Identifying sourcing opportunities, strengthening supplier strategies, and delivering cost savings through smarter purchasing practices.
* Manufacturing: Boosting manufacturing performance through productivity improvements, network optimization, and digital enablement.
* Distribution: Refining distribution networks and operations to improve cost-efficiency, customer service, and scalability.

The Operations & Supply Chain Consultant / Senior Consultant is at the core of our case team structure. Coming from diverse backgrounds and using their creative problem-solving and managerial skills, Consultants / Senior Consultants at L.E.K. guide our case teams to provide clients insights with impact. You will make a difference by driving our teams to deliver actionable advice and strategies to help our clients win.
Consultants / Senior Consultants at L.E.K. manage a team of Associates and/or Associate Consultants right from the start, and are on point to ensure the team is addressing client problems and delivering an answer. While every case is different, Consultants' / Senior Consultants' primary responsibilities typically include:
* Breaking down and outlining the client's key strategic issues
* Designing and supervising the team's core research tasks and analyses day-to-day
* Developing presentations and other deliverable structures
* Participating in the communication of project conclusions to client senior management
* Providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to more junior staff

As part of the role, you may be asked to travel to client sites. These opportunities allow for deeper client engagement, broader exposure, and meaningful contributions to our work. We ask that you remain flexible in supporting these travel needs as part of your professional experience at L.E.K

The O&P Consultant / Senior Consultant role at L.E.K. is differentiated from other firms in several key ways:
* Early management responsibility: Consultants / Senior Consultants have the opportunity to manage the case process and Associate team (L.E.K. hires two undergraduates for every new Consultant).

* Breadth of experiences: While our projects span most industries and O&P services, our focus is operations and supply chain. Consultants / Senior Consultants typically work on ~6-10 projects a year, providing greater exposure across clients and strategic issues, as well as faster development of business acumen.

* International exposure: Approximately one-third of L.E.K. projects involve an international component, which allows Consultants / Senior Consultants to work on international case teams or, if they choose, to relocate to international offices on either a temporary or a full-time basis.

Qualifications and Experience Needed
* An MBA from a renowned school with outstanding academic achievement or 3-5 years of full-time professional experience post-graduation in a relevant field
* Strong Operations & Supply Chain experience; backgrounds may include consulting, industry roles, or a blend of both, though purely corporate experience will be considered selectively.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership, initiative and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
* Enthusiasm, resilience, and a desire to continuously learn and grow
L.E.K. Consulting offers competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. The base salary at the Consultant level is $185,000USD and at the Senior Consultant level is $200,000USD. The estimated total potential compensation at these levels ranges from $250,000USD (Consultant) to $290,000USD (Sr. Consultant).? The realization of performance bonuses and profit sharing are influenced by both individual and firm performance. Broader firm benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, sick leave and short and long term disability insurance.
