We believe that every business has a responsibility towards the social framework it operates within. We exist to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner and healthier world. We fearlessly innovate in this pursuit across our Hygiene, Health and Nutrition businesses. This is what makes us stand out as a Business with Purpose.
Reckitt Global Challenge is amongst the oldest innovation challenge open to B-school students to drive positive social impact through their powerful ideas.
This year you have an opportunity as entrepreneurs with purpose to come and solve for the most crucial business problems with social impact with us and join our fight to make access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness and nourishment a right and not a privilege.
We want business solutions that are high on social impact, address critical issues in society, and have the power to bring about positive change through our brands.
SCHEDULE
Stage 1
Registration (1st September – 12th September 2023)
Participants must apply in teams of 2-3 members. The first to register will become the Team Leader who can then invite the other members to join the team.
Business Simulation Round
Stage 2
Business Simulation Round (15th September – 17th September 2023)
At Reckitt, we consider Agility to be a pre-requisite for success in our business. This fast-paced online round tracks your team’s agility through the business decisions that you take in this round.
Case Challenge Round
Stage 3
Case Challenge Round (20th September – 15th October 2023)
It’s time to show us your BIG IDEA! Address an ongoing issue in the space of Health/Hygiene/Nutrition in your country, through Product Innovation/Product Extension/Service Innovation of an existing Reckitt brand. The idea must be scalable and financially viable.
Campus Presentation Round
Stage 4
Campus Presentation Round (25th October 2023)
All team members of the campus round winning team receive PPIs
A cash prize of INR 1,00,000/- for the campus winning team
Wildcards PPIs for members of the non-winnings teams
National Finale
Stage 5
National Finale (25th November 2023)
The national Finale winning team receive INR 10,00,000 cash prize and PPIs for the MT program
The National Finale winning team receives an all paid* global immersion for 1 week
All teams qualifying for the National finale receive mentoring from Reckitt leaders
OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO ARE:
The students enrolled in the flagship MBA program from the below mentioned campuses are eligible to participate in the Reckitt Global Challenge 2023.
RULES
The 2nd-year students enrolled in the flagship MBA program from the below mentioned campuses are eligible to participate in the Reckitt Global Challenge 2022.
List of campuses: IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, XLRI Jamshedpur, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SIBM Pune, IIT Delhi, NITIE, IIM Bangalore, IIT Bombay, SPJIMR, IIFT Delhi, IMT, Ghaziabad, NMIMS, Mumbai.
Participants must apply in teams of 2-3 members from the same university. The first to register will become the Team Leader who can then invite the other members to join the team.
Once the team has registered, they will be eligible to play the Business Simulation. Team will not be able to proceed to the next round unless they have completed this round.
Teams that win the Business Simulation will be invited to participate in the Business Case Challenge Round : address an ongoing business case with a social impact in the space of Health/Hygiene/Nutrition in India. The solution must be Practical and financially viable.
Top teams will then move to the Campus Finale round, where they will get to present their solutions live to the Reckitt team.
Winners of the campus finale round will be named the Reckitt Global Challenge Campus Winners and will qualify for the National Finale, where they will get to present their solutions to the Reckitt South Asia leadership team and external jury members.
Winners of the national round will be named the Reckitt Global Challenge Winner and will experience a 1-week global immersion at a Reckitt site.
