Defense Acquisition Management Specialist, Mid
Key Role:

Support a DoD acquisition competency. Assist with development acquisition service offerings across the DoD enterprise and provide acquisition guidance or support to associated offices in developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and reviewing documentation, and providing defense systems acquisition expertise in support of developing, acquiring, and fielding DoD systems. Analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines, and acquisition decision memorandums. Work with integrated product teams to provide acquisition expertise in all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting acquisition documentation requirements, including approval authority, routing, and signature requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with DoD acquisition in a program or defense office setting
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with DoD acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, and Milestone Decision Review briefs
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series or SECNAVINST 5000.2F policies and documents
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with risk management
Experience with an Integrated Master Schedule or Microsoft Project
Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs) or DFARS
Knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
MBA, JD, or MA or MS degree
DAWIA, PMP, or other program management certifications
