In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of vastly dynamic organization and growing team by evaluating and creating new supply chain and project planning concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope, in line with the Business strategy. You will work as an integrator together with experts and stakeholders from North America Market, Integrated Supply Chain, and Business Groups to help translate the strategic business plans into operational excellence in Market to Order (M2O) and Order to Cash (O2C).


Determines and implements the medium-term strategy for supply chain
Actively drives integration across the End to End value stream by identifying key drivers of value and influencing others to work cross functionally to increase operational excellence and customer value
Initiates changes to supply chain management concepts in accordance with the customer requirements leading to continuous improvements across the End to End supply chain.
Drives process improvements and hands over sustainable solutions to the responsible organization, embedded into their standard work
Contribute to the deployment of tactical, financial and operational plans by driving continuous improvement in NAM & Supply Chain processes
Actively drives a culture of continuous improvement leveraging LEAN methodology and Philips Excellence Practices
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with experts and stakeholders from NAM Market, Integrated Supply Chain, and Business Groups on Supply Chain Execution
Actively campaigns for quality and constantly seeks opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness
Drives quality standards, targets and methods to control process quality.
Monitors and controls processes and identify the root cause of issues/waste.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor of Science or Business (MBA a plus!)
8-10+ years of experience in supply chain management, project planning and scheduling, and/or logistics and distribution management
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other functions to achieve overall business objectives
Knowledgeable in Continuous Improvement, LEAN
Must thrive in a fast paced environment requiring a high level of collaboration
Understanding of supply chain concepts and their financial impact
Experienced in conducting critical path analysis, analysis of changes to schedule assumptions and impact on targets
Demonstrated track record in leveraging continuous process improvement / lean methodologies to resolve complex supply chain, project management or implementation issues
Self-starter with ability to work in a matrix environment
Flexible work style, adaptable to internal and external customer requirements supported by a creative mind and the ability to think out of the box
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all department and organizational levels
