The Chapter Lead Business Advisory builds, leads and develops a diverse and inclusive team of Value & Insight Coaches (Strategic Finance and Business Analytics) and Strategic Value Specialists (Strategic Procurement). You have a passion for the application of Corporate Finance & Beyond Budgeting Concepts, Financial Modelling, Data Mining, Insights Collection & Trend Prognosis, predictive modelling techniques, data science and data visualization tools.
As the Chapter Lead Business Advisory you will leverage your broad strategic financial & analytical expertise and deep understanding of financials to guide decision-making, provide analytical insight and business judgment to support strategic and tactical initiatives across the affiliate.
In this leadership role you will demonstrate Creative Leadership competencies and play the roles of Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach; developing and empowering Roche employees to innovate, collaborate, be authentic and own their impact. Through development of chapter members, you will maintain a ready pool of talent to be drawn upon by squads, work streams and Community Leads to deliver on Roche Australia’s short and long-term priorities.
As a Chapter Lead you will ensure that your team demonstrates excellence in the following responsibilities:
Models business scenarios and tracks performance metrics to enable the organisation to make strategic and sound financial company decisions
Drives best resource allocation decisions, both short and long term to maximize value to patients, partners and Roche
Drives outcomes by joining outcome squads on an above country level for Pharma Finance
Balances the roles of trusted advisor and guardian to reveal opportunity, manage risk, and optimize resource allocation to ensure a financially sustainable business
Continuously enhances and develops the agile planning framework/ components
Provides insights, sets objectives and drives transformation initiatives that will ensure a sustainable business
Acts a critical thought partner to the business teams in shaping the long-term direction of Roche
Draws insight from analysis and discussions across the business and develops compelling, synthesized recommendations
Identifies and evaluates opportunities and develops insightful recommendations on strategic direction and specific project opportunities that can move the needle in business
Provides data-supported insights to squads and teams to help improve their business
Uses predictive and statistical modeling techniques to solve challenges, uncover opportunities and develop solutions for client business
Acts as an industry advocate and analyst to surface key industry trends
Who are you?
You are degree qualified majoring in business, commerce, finance, or economics. Having an MBA / Post graduate degree in either Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Programming & Database and/or CPA, CA, ACA, or CIMA qualification is a plus.
You are experienced in consulting role and/or with an agile/networked organization with proven track record of effectively leading and directing cross-functional programs and projects a plus.
You have deep understanding of Corporate Finance, Financial Modelling, Data Mining, Insights Collection & Trend Prognosis, predictive and statistic modelling techniques, data science and data visualization tools.
With strong business acumen and focus on customer, you can clearly identify and prioritise initiatives that will have the greatest strategic impact on the organization. While working on multiple projects at a time, you can find creative ways to solve big picture challenges and able to influence leadership teams.
