Oversees and manages the design and improvement initiatives within the launch to deliver value stream as it relates to RDC (launch management, demand planning, supply services, order fulfillment, instrument placement, logistics) for RDC. Develop and administer integrated supply, order and delivery strategies from forecast through customer consumption. Coordinates activities with global supply chain, contracting, implementations, Roche support network, marketing, sales and order fulfillment departments to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Interacts with others at various levels involving matters between functional areas, other departments or org units, or customers and the company. Receives assignments/objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals, delegating assignments when necessary. Involved in developing, modifying and executing policies and/or procedures that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Direct the development, implementation, improvement and management of strategies, activities processes, systems, and procedures within RDC Supply Logistics to meet the company and customer experience needs/objectives. Analyzes operational processes, escalation procedures and performs training needs assessments for identifying opportunities for supply and service delivery improvements that add value to the customer/clients.
Develop and evolve supply to delivery strategy for RDC
Oversees improvement pipeline in support of RDC supply to delivery strategy
Identify, execute and manage supply/logistical value added services for RDC customers
Oversight of the RDC operating system with Supply Logistics
Resolve escalated supply/delivery related issues as necessary through collaboration with other departments
Create and formulate appropriate goals and metrics to optimize supply to delivery activities
Provides leadership and business direction to subordinates and peers
Develops and maintains strong relationships and communication processes throughout RDC and with GSC management to ensure that opportunities/needs/ constraints are made visible
Develop cross-functional relationships to aide in knowledge and communication flow, acts as RDC representative on various global projects
Who you are:
Bachelorís Degree and 5 years related work experience
Strong analytical skills. Able to deal with ambiguity, identify and resolve root cause of issues, and grasp complex processes. Attention to detail.
Ability to successfully develop, prioritize, manage and drive results for multiple complex projects and initiatives
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business plans, understanding of financial policies including accounting treatment and capitalization
Excellent problem solving, customer service, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, leadership and communication skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, supply planning, logistics, order fulfillment and inventory management processes and procedures. Demonstrated ability to grasp complex supply chain processes
Ability to effectively utilize strategic thinking and innovative ideas to create and present long-term solutions in alignment with key business needs
Ability to foster and sustain strong interpersonal relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to manage stakeholder relationships.
