About the Team

We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented individual to work with key stakeholders to take part in managing an operational transformation project. This individual will consult and collaborate with key leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and support with developing sustainable, quantifiable process improvements. They will be responsible for helping set project priorities and coordinate goals/strategies for deployment. These projects are aimed at accomplishing short-term and long-term objectives such as increasing customer satisfaction, enhancing revenue, improving efficiency and identifying cost savings. On our team you'll manage one or more cross-functional special project work streams. You'll work closely with the strategy leadership team across Engineering, Operations, Policy and other teams to develop and execute elements of Tesla’s goals for 2019.

What to Expect

Energy E2E Customer Experience Team: Intern will be responsible for everything from data exploration, statistical analysis and identifying emerging business opportunities, to working with internal departments to build buy-in and drive performance improvement. You’ll contribute your creativity and great ideas, working alongside innovative colleagues and mentors who will push you to be your very best. We’ll give you hands-on projects and the chance to make an immediate impact. Here are some of the roles you could have as an Intern with our team: 1) Strategy & Analysis 2) Data Business Analyst 3) Process Improvement and 4) Project Management

Intern will help drive and implement critical initiatives and work with some of the best teams on the planet – committed to delivering on the Tesla mission. Additionally, you’ll support in the ownership and delivery of key operational elements of our transformation project. This will require working with other departments, as well as internal stakeholders as a means of delivering best in class experience to our customers. As an intern, you will help us deliver on our business strategy by delivering the analytical insights our leaders use to enable us to innovate. Whether it’s identifying process improvements or new strategies forward, you will help Tesla execute this critical transformation project needed for our short- and long-term growth.


• Preferred current student in an undergraduate, masters, MBA, or PhD program

• 3+ internship, project, or work experience related to this area of expertise

• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and excellent time management skills

• Ability to relocate for the duration of your internship in Las Vegas
