In this session, we introduce the "Gold Medal Mindset" as a way to approach Job Search. This includes emphasizing that students should first have a clear (and focused) career goal - and we do an activity that helps them do that. Then we emphasize the importance of a comprehensive Strategy that will prepare them to be a "podium level candidate - and we do an activity on helping them identify a few elements of a Strategy. Finally, we emphasize the importance of preparing their job search tools / tactics to (a) be strongly aligned to their gold medal sport and (b) to be at a higher standard so they can perform to be the gold medal candidate.
