Our speaker is an international STEM graduate with a background in advanced engineering, research, and industry roles across India, the U.S., and Canada. After beginning her career in India, she pursued a Master's degree in the U.S. and later faced repeated uncertainty navigating the H-1B system.
Following an unexpected relocation outside the U.S., she took a more intentional and long-term approach to career and immigration planning, ultimately securing U.S. work authorization through an alternative visa pathway. She joins this session to share her journey and the broader lessons international students can apply when thinking beyond lottery-based outcomes.
