As the marketing supervisor for the retail channel, you will develop and execute the UPS European retail strategy and support with business context and financial impact analysis.

Typically, you will lead and drive cross-functional retail projects that have a high top management exposure and support UPS’ long range strategic plan.

Moreover, you will shape the future retail architecture - resulting from strategic recommendations - and prepare the transition into implementation work.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct business context analysis of the European retail environment and customer behaviour. Leverage those insights in strategy development, business planning, program development and strategic initiatives.
•Develop and execute strategies and tactics to sell UPS services through other business channels, increasing revenue opportunities.
•Build compelling business cases to gain cross-functional support for strategies and tactics.
•Identify, develop and implement analysis and metrics required to measure the performance of initiatives in the retail channel
•Exchange of best practices between country organisations.

Qualifications

Job qualifications and experience, academic degrees, personal traits...
•Studies in business administration, economics, marketing or comparable studies, MBA a plus
•Minimum 5 years professional experience obtained as in strategic and consumer marketing, customer relationship management (CRM) or market research – experience within retail is required
•Experience with in-depth business context analysis and business case skills;
•Able to challenge and impact the decision making process;
•Pragmatic, hands-on professional with strong structured problem solving abilities and intellectual curiosity;
•Strong project management, interpersonal and organisational skills;
•Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results;
•Strong verbal and written communication skills;
•Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German and/ or French is an asset
•Comfortable with quantitative approaches and analysis;
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
