About the Virtual Event

Graduate Career Services remains committed to providing our employer partners and students with an experience that offers small group and one-on-one interactions to emulate on-campus recruiting with hiring firms and valuable alum informational interaction.

This is our largest MBA Career event of the year, offering our guests the opportunity to meet our first and second year MBA candidates who will be assigned to rotations based on their preferred interest to meet with you. Candidates will be assigned to five 20-minute small group rotations. At the conclusion the rotations, guests will be able to invite candidates for one-on-one chats or host an open networking session.

The MBA Fall Career Roundtable will take place October 29th, 2021 between 11:00am - 2pm PDT. Once you register, you will be asked to complete your company profile and submit job opportunities that you are recruiting for. MBA-Exchange.com will be hosting an online training session to get you familiar with the platform and structure of the event.
You will also get the chance to review the resume database of registered students leading up to the event one week prior the event.

After the event, you will be able to continue to promote your jobs and receive applications, as well as search the resume database to identify the right candidates for you until November 29th 2021.

This Roundtable event is a structured recruiting experience with five 20-minute rotations. Each rotation will provide employers the opportunity to meet our MBA candidates interested in learning about the variety of full time and internship roles currently offered by your organization. From 1:15-2:00 PM employers will have the option to host an open networking session OR meet students to One.on.One private chats. One.on.One private chats must be requested and arranged prior to October 29.

Yes, once you have registered yourself and your company for the event, you can add additional participants to your registration. Simply go to your company dashboard and select the “Register a company representative” button. Be sure to include email, title and phone number for each participant.

Within 24 to 48 hours, each registered participant will receive an email from uscmarshallvcf@mba-exchange.com confirming registration. The confirmation email will include the registered individuals name, company, contact information, as well as additional information provided on the registration form. If you do not receive confirmation within the 48-hour window, please check your spam folder. If you cannot find your confirmation, please contact our event coordinator, Elizabeth Gutierrez, at Elizabeth.Gutierrez@Marshall.USC.edu

Use the “Post a new job” feature in the platform to identify the various roles your firm will be recruiting at this event. This information will assist the student’s bid preference to be assigned to your room and help them prepare for the event.

Test Runs will be held at 9:00 AM PDT on Oct 26, 27 and 28. A Test Run is your opportunity to ensure that you and your team are prepared and ready for the day of the event. A Test Run is a facilitated walkthrough of the event covering all aspects of event day including day of event schedule, final preparation tasks, and use of technology (e.g., logging in, entering/exiting sessions, messaging, etc.). You are encouraged to attend ONE Test Run. To register go to your Company Dashboard, select “Schedule” and then select “Test Run” from the drop down menu.. We encourage all members of your team to attend a Test Run.

Yes, you will be able to review student resumes as they register. Student registration will close on October 19. You can request the optional One.on.One configuration at the end of the day, from 1:15-2:00 PM. Candidate invites for One.on.One sessions should be submitted via Excel to USCMarshallVCF@MBA-Exchange.com by October 26. Candidate assignments to the structured Roundtable Rotations will be available on October 26. Log on to your Company Dashboard and select an Online Session. You will see a list of candidates assigned to your session and can access their resume and contact information.

From your dashboard or the schedule page, select the session you wish to invite candidates to, the next page will include a "Invite Candidate" link to search and select candidates for the session.

Your login credentials will be sent to you by email after your registration has been approved. If you don't remember or cannot find your login credentials, please use the "Forgot Password" function in the login page.

Students will bid to be placed in a 20-minute rotation with you. In the event you are unable to fulfill your obligation, please identify a colleague in your organization who can backfill.

If you'd prefer to use another video meeting platform, please contact USCMarshallVCF@MBA-Exchange.com. You will need to provide a link for each separate session that your company will be hosting.

After registration on the MBA-Exchange.com Virtual Career Fair platform, this page, will be provided with login details to the platform. Once logged in you can ENTER your roundtable Zoom room from the Schedule page. Click here to login

No. You will stay in the same Zoom session for all student rotations. You will need to track the time as there is no “countdown” clock provided. We have added a 5 minute break in between rotations.

From the virtual meeting platform you will ENTER your Networking Session. Students will be joining the assigned representative hosting your Networking Session in small groups every 10 minutes. This provides your firm the opportunity to meet with students who were not assigned to a formal rotation. Please make sure assigned representatives remain in the Networking Session for the entire duration 1:15-2:00 PM PDT.
