Top Rotational Programs 2020

This article is part of the “2020 Ranking of MBA Development Programs”. At the time of this writing, our Development Program Directory has 535 programs, with this article focusing on the top ten!

AB InBev’s Global MBA Internship, Global MBA Program (USA) and Chevron’s Business & Commercial MBA Program took the top spots for Rotational Programs in this year's rankings. Unsurprisingly, the top two spots were claimed by AB InBev, which has performed very well in our rankings this year, being in the top ten in many categories. It is interesting to note that, unlike many of the other rankings from this year’s report, none of the top three programs are based in the Technology industry.

Similar to the top three, there are very few programs in our top ten which are based in the Technology industry, with the only two being from Emerson and Google. This could partly be due to the fact that, while Technology is growing at a rapid rate, the firms in that industry tend to be more focused in certain areas, making them less diverse. While there are obvious exceptions to this, this would mean that there would be less opportunities for Rotational Programs which tend to cover a wider variety of roles. This also explains why we see more companies based in the Consumer Goods and Healthcare industry pushing to the top of this ranking.

All Development Programs in this top 10 have various functional rotations within each program. For example, rotations can go from Marketing & Communications, to Sales, Consulting, Operations, Production & Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
