Advantage - Networking opportunities, diverse work experience, learning different lines of business
Disadvantage - May not get the placement you want, not enough opportunities after program is done

I would like to be in a senior leadership position within a financial institution.

How strongly did you weight the location of the program?
location did not really matter as long as I got the experience I needed.

What to look for in a MBA / Leadership Development Program?
Look at where the rotations are offered, so in which department. look at the direction of the bank, some banks have international rotations which some banks lack.

Can you summarize the recruiting process you went through and how long it took?
I was already an employee of the bank so I had an interview with the program HR manager and a senior member of the rotational department. theres also another round of interviews with senior executive team.

What were the required skillsets and prior experience and how were they evaluated (behavioral interviews, case studies, assessment center, panel interview, etc)?
you need good grades, graduate from top school and display leadership qualities. it would be beneficial if an internship at one of the banks was done beforehand.

What advice and tips can you share with those interested in MBA Development Programs?
attend the information sessions and network with the recruiters beforehand. Also, you may not get rotations in the departments you want so be aware of that.
