Turner MIINT is a year-long experiential learning program that trains graduate students to think like impact investors, culminating in a global pitch competition where student teams present real early-stage impact investment opportunities to a panel of industry judges.

Overview
Turner MIINT is a global, year-long experiential learning program that gives graduate and MBA students hands-on training in impact investing. It is co-produced by the Impact Capital Managers (ICM) Institute and the Impact, Value, and Sustainable Business Initiative at the Wharton School (Wharton Impact), with longstanding support from the Bridges Impact Foundation.
Who can participate
- Graduate students at participating business and graduate schools worldwide, including Wharton MBA students and Penn graduate students in eligible clubs or Wharton Impact programs
- Teams typically work together throughout the year on sourcing and due diligence
Format
- Students complete an online curriculum covering sourcing, due diligence, impact measurement, valuation, and deal terms
- Teams source and evaluate early-stage impact ventures, supported by mentors, industry professionals, and campus leaders
- Each participating school selects one top team to advance to the global finals
- The program culminates in an in-person final pitch competition on Wharton's campus in Philadelphia, where finalist teams present investment recommendations to an Investment Committee of impact investors
- Finals include judged pitches, workshops on emerging industry topics, and networking with peers and professionals
