Leeds Sustainability Case Competition
Objective
The Net Impact Case Competition (NICC) is a challenging, real-world business competition that challenges students to tackle pressing global issues. Participants are tasked with developing innovative and sustainable solutions to complex social and environmental problems faced by organizations.

Description
This competition fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity as teams analyze cases and propose actionable strategies. It not only hones students' problem-solving skills but also aligns with the principles of responsible business and social impact. NICC provides a platform for the next generation of leaders to address societal challenges while gaining practical experience and making a positive difference in the world.
The 2025 Net Impact Case Competition will challenge student competitors to develop an effective, practical biodiversity strategy for a real company. In the face of new and constantly evolving standards across the company's global footprint, students will design a biodiversity plan--including risks, opportunities, dependencies, and impacts--that satisfies regulators and all other primary stakeholders while meshing seamlessly with the company's values and current business strategy.
