About Businessline/Function :
Finance Shared Services (FSS) in BNP Paribas is an integral part of the BNP Paribas Finance functions. Working cohesively with global teams in APAC, EMEA and Americas, FSS provides support for Performance Management, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Accounting Controls, Accounts Payable, Functional Business Analysis and Project Support, Project Management Office roles.
CIB Finance Accounting Systems department is part of Finance Shared Services and is primarily responsible for business analysis, functional support and developing tactical solutions for CIB Finance globally.

To ensure that the candidate performs the Business analysis and requirements on Accounting application and has worked on General Ledger system
Manage Change Request and Project Testing (BA/PM) to ensure that the change reaches the logical conclusion
Handle Functional and Analytical task and address user queries and issues
Co-ordinate closely with the functional and business users and understand system functionalities and testing requirements.
Partnering with Business users in conducting interviews with Business users to understand the requirements
Perform analysis of the Change Request and preparation of user requirement and functional specification document
Perform functional, integration, regression and systems testing where there is a change in the upstream systems
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Good knowledge of Accounting concepts, General Ledger and Capital Market
Comfortable with basic office tools (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Outlook)
Excellent knowledge and use of MS Excel
Good communication skill (Verbal and Written)
Listening skills to elicit the user requirement and
Good analytical skills to perform analysis
Ability to plan, design, prepare and execute test cases (Manual and Automated)
Traceability Matrix (Ability to map requirements and specifications to test cases and vice versa)

Understanding of testing principles and practices and
Ability to communicate effectively with Finance and IT teams

Specific Qualifications (if required)
MBA in Finance, Bachelor of Commerce, Master in Commerce, Bachelor in Science
3 to 5 years of experience depending upon Job role applied for Other Preferred Competencies (not mandatory):
Former experiences within a Finance function in Banking and Financial Services
Prior experience in BFSI Domain (Accounting, General Ledger or Capital Market)
