Reporting to the Vice President Rewards, this role will be instrumental in driving the creation and execution of key compensation policies, practices and processes. This role is for the HR leader who is passionate about business and knows how to leverage the power of compensation to help drive an organization forward.
As a member of the Human Resources (HR) Compensation Team, the successful candidate will bring a positive, influential and creative perspective and will be a key contributor to the overall direction and success of future RAI compensation strategies. Ensuring such strategies, based on market data and trends, are leading edge in order to attract and retain best in class employees.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and administer innovative compensation strategies that reinforce business objectives and ensure RAI offers cost effective and competitive reward plans.
Maintain the rewards strategy for the company by recommending standardized programs, variable compensation designs, bonus programs, as needed.
Assure internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation programs through strategic monitoring of business conditions, competitive practices, legal requirements, and an ongoing understanding of industry best practices.
Analyze various compensation data to identify trends/issues and propose/implement solutions.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand their issues related to compensation.
Support HR Business Partners by conducting job evaluations and developing compensation offers to candidates.
Efficiently manage the annual salary planning process, including the development of budget recommendations.
Execute a comprehensive communication strategy for total rewards programs (e.g., annual salary review, short term incentives, long term incentives, etc.)
Create a strong culture of recognition through the design of reward and recognition programs.
Manage and participant in key projects, programs, and initiatives, as necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum of five to ten years of HR experience, with a specific emphasis on compensation.
Deep knowledge and understanding of best-in-class compensation practices gained through practical application.
Demonstrated track record of successful partnering/collaborating across multiple functions and levels within the company.
The ability to think and function strategically, complimented by the ability to execute and respond tactically and manage in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to make effective decisions.
Well-developed project management skills.
Proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships and communicate effectively across multiple levels throughout the organization.
Strategic business orientation and acumen, and the ability to define and prioritize efforts based on business direction and needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Established track record of driving and delivering results.
Exhibit strong tact, diplomacy and discretion.
Exhibits a high level of openness and transparency and an ability to work in diverse environments.
A bachelorís degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. An MBA or related masterís degree is preferred, but not required.
