Part of the Divisional Expense Accounting & Controls team in Pune that supports and partners the various functions across different regions.

As part of the CFO division, Expense Accounting & Controls provides clear and reliable information to our stakeholders by optimizing the use of financial resources. This includes Monthly Expense Accrual process for the divisions (other than Corp Functions)

This role would include the following activities -
You will perform accounting reconciliations as well as monthly accruals booking
You will need to submit month over month variance analysis to the clients
You will take account ownership and signoff of the same as per policy
You're role would also involve regular interaction with the clients to ensure appropriate communication with them and also maintain clarity
Ensure quality and controls are in place and adhered to across all aspects of the activities including the execution and reporting of the process.
Proactively identify and build process enhancement opportunities
Provide additional financial/data analysis as required by the business
Dedicatedly ensuring policies and procedures documentations are up-to-date and are being applied correctly.

You Offer

You should have a CA/MBA degree in Finance
A proven experience in Financial Accounting (minimum 4 years)
Experience in Variance analysis packs and flash reporting
Understanding of IFRS/US GAAP will be an added advantage
Financial Services Background preferable
Knowledge of Financial Systems/Essbase & PeopleSoft
Previous experience in Expense Accruals
Cost allocation experience (desirable)
Experience in a global organisation (desirable)
You have a phenomenal client focus attitude
Strong communication skills Ė good written and verbal communication, ability to communicate appropriately with people at all levels within the organisation, recognition of cultural differences
Proven Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
You have excellent analytical skills & problem solving ability
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivery
You have an experience in building and supporting teams/partners remotely
