The Investment Bank combines Deutsche Bank’s Finance and Advisory, Fixed Income Currencies Sales and Trading and Research businesses. This division was created in 2019 with the aim of ensuring greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the Bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.
The Corporate Finance (CF) business includes the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team, as well as the debt, leveraged debt and equity capital markets teams (Debt Capital Markets, Leverage Debt Capital Markets and Equity Capital Markets).
The team reports directly into the Global Business Chief Operating Officer for CF. The role offers development opportunities within the team and across the CF Business. You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of change that impact the Business, which requires strong coordinated activity across multiple teams and subject matter expertise to ensure seamless delivery. These are often regulatory or large-scale business transformation programmes. Recent examples have included Market in Financial Instrumentals Directive II, Brexit and London Inter Bank Offered Rate Transformation.

Your key responsibilities
Delivering multiple projects or programme manage large change management initiatives across CF
Building relationships with key stakeholders across multiple teams, including Business, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations and Information Technology
Using dynamic change management methodologies to ensure a consistent approach to delivery, through the use of appropriate tools, processes and practices
Implementing robust project governance to ensure deliverables meet agreed project objectives and audit requirements
Managing risks and issues to support delivery
Your skills and qualifications
Relevant previous experience as a Programme Manager within the Financial Services or Corporate sector
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Relevant experience from a consulting firm, investment bank seen as an advantage, ideally Corporate Finance (equity/ debt capital markets, M&A)
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience (professional qualification such as accountancy or MBA would be beneficial)
