Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Sr. Director, Global Education Solutions, Joint Reconstruction. Strong preference for this individual to be based in Warsaw, IN. Open to Raynham, MA.

The Sr. Director, Global Education Solutions, Joint Reconstruction, will have a critical leadership role within Depuy Synthes, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices. Education is a global competitive advantage and this individual will be directly responsible for creating the global Professional Education and Commercial Education strategies and for developing innovative learning continuums and content for the evolving Depuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction business. This leader will align to our JJMD education standards, own and govern global delivery of all clinical and non-clinical programming for sales representatives, clinical specialists, clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals.

Global consistency is established by ensuring team members are trained and follow work/training standards and operate through global governance procedures.

Primary responsibilities of the Sr. Director, Global Education Solutions, Joint Reconstruction:
Serves as a member of the DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction Leadership Teams and Global Education Solutions Leadership Team.
Directly leads global education function for DPS Joint Reconstruction supporting ($3.5BB) in worldwide sales.
Leads and executes the J&J Institute (JJI) Experience, both in-person and digital, for over 400 external events (for ~2500 HCPs) and the J&J University (JJU) Experience for approximately 200 commercial associates annually.
Is accountable for attracting, staffing, developing and retaining a diverse, global team of approximately 35 people
Has leadership responsibility for assuring necessary tools, policies and procedures are developed and integrated to support and comply with all legal, regulatory and HCC policies to include Advamed, PharMa, ACCME, etc.
Works with key Stakeholders across Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices include GESLT, Platform Presidents, heads of Sales & Marketing, and Region/Key Country Business Unit Directors.

Additional responsibilities include:
Partners with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develops the global education strategy for Commercial Education and Professional Education.
Oversees the build and delivery of all internal/external education programs including new product launches
Works with major societies and manages faculty/KOL development and engagement.
Collaborates with Academic Medical Centers and thought leaders to shape education for the future leaders of Orthopedics.
Leads Joint Reconstruction educational initiatives for Outpatient procedures and Digital/Robotic solutions
Optimizes the Johnson & Johnson University and Johnson & Johnson Institute Experiences by implementing branding, environment, technology and workflow standards for internal and external events; focuses on expanding digital learning capability.
Collaborates with the WW Education Capabilities team and oversees the global execution of all non-clinical commercial learning and development programs.
Integrate Digital/Robotic Solutions into the Joint Reconstruction ecosystem and maximize data and analytics capabilities.
Develops vision, mission, goals for Joint Reconstruction team and ensures that the priorities align to the businessesí strategic priorities.
Develops talent to include: leveraging functional competency models, recruitment, on-boarding, training/development and succession planning; fosters a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation.
Builds strong instructional design and delivery capability, integrating adult learning principles into all learning experiences.
Measures and continuously improves effectiveness of internal and external education programming.
Works with other functions/departments (HCC, Procurement, Legal, PR&O, etc.) on HCP selection/ contracting, preferred suppliers, contract negotiations and statements of work to ensure adherence to company policies.
Is accountable for developing MGPP, annual business plan, tracking and achieving operating budget.


Required Qualifications:
Bachelorís Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 10 years in Education, Sales, Marketing or other Commercial Function in Medical Devices with a history in driving results
Minimum of 5 years successfully managing a team is required.
Proven ability to understand business strategy; translate it into solutions that support the companyís business goals.
Overnight travel may be required up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years experience in Professional Education, Sales Training and/or Orthopedics
Experience working on or with remote team
Global Experience
Experience managing/developing digital assets for Education
Experience with Digital Surgery capabilities such as navigation and robotics
