The Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all finance activities for the Jerusalem and Yokneam manufacturing plants. The plants are part of the Machined Implantables and Capital & Disposables (MiCD) Operations Network and support the Patient Monitoring and Gastrointestinal Operating Units (OU’s). You will need to bring your financial acumen and leadership skills to shape the strategy for plant finance, achieving outstanding financial results.
A Day in the Life
Provide financial counsel to the Plant Managers to align our financial goals to strategic imperatives.
Analyze, interpret and communicate financial performance, and make recommendations concerning resource allocations and operations to plant management to maximize financial health. Drive initiatives improving operating performance such as yield improvements and labor efficiency, balance sheet optimization and cost reductions.
Manage capital and inventory processes to optimize cash flow, including collaboration with internal stakeholders on Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to optimize Supply Chain metrics and financial performance.
Oversee the AOP and forecasting processes, inclusive of preparation, consolidation and presentation.
Shape and develop the finance team in both manufacturing plants to ensure consistent high performance and foster career development.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, local statutory accounting, SOX, as well as Medtronic’s worldwide finance policies and procedures, including oversight of balance sheet integrity, and overall compliance efforts.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting preferred
CPA, Master’s degree in Finance /Accounting or MBA preferred
Controllership experience and heavy focus on FP&A
Global Finance Experience, working in large, complex, matrix organizations
Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence experience / certification preferred
