We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Analyst to join our Commercial Marketing team. The ideal person for this role is a curious, independent strategic thinker that likes to look at data to find insights and inform decisions for the business. This role reports into our Sr. Director of Channel Marketing & Training and will assist both the upstream and downstream teams when critical data and analysis is needed.
This is a highly visible role responsible for creating, developing, analyzing and presenting critical insights in the multifaceted Diagnostics business. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales analytics and management reporting/dashboarding required to guide commercial strategies and monitor execution. You will also support Diagnostics Commercial Marketing Leadership team to facilitate quarterly business reviews and help facilitate other cross-functional forums.

A Day in the Life
In partnership with the Diagnostics Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for the development, creation, and execution of sales analytics tools, and customer engagement reporting metrics to support marketing initiative tracking such as product launches and market share reporting.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
•Forecasting and the Long-Range Planning (LRP) process for CRM
•Performs analyses in the areas of product preferences, potentials, sales coverage, market size, penetration, competitor assessments, marketing practices and trends, and prepares forecasts and recommendations.
•Researches market conditions in assigned areas to determine potential sales of a product or service.
•Keeps informed about developments in the government, military, economic, scientific, political, industrial, and international fields as they apply to the organization's future marketing plans.
•Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their strategies, prices, sales, and method of operation.
•Collects and maintains information on the requirements, organization, budget, and preferences of prospective customers and competitors.
•Organizes information to assist in analyzing future products and makes recommendations for the development of new products or services.
•May compile and analyze statistical data on past sales and trends to forecast future trends and state-of-the-art changes.
•Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in a data analytics, marketing, analyst, sales support or finance role (2 years with Advanced Degree)
Nice to Have:
•MBA or Advanced degree
•Strong ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, interpret large quantities of detailed data and make decisions and recommendations based on available information
•Medical device or healthcare industry experience
•Strong analytical and quantitative skills. High degree of comfort in excel and other database tools and CRM systems like Salesforce.com
•Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing sales force is helpful
•Strong emotional and corporate intelligence. Willing to challenge current thinking and drive major change initiatives
•Ability to be proactive, act independently and courageously through times of ambiguity and change management
•Experience in successful management of projects that require cross-functional collaboration
•Demonstrated ability to present material appropriate to the level of the audience
•Proven track record and demonstration of management by influence and leading others indirectly
