As the Intern Program Manager, you'll play an essential role on Nike’s Global University Relations (UR) team and contribute to the overall success of the UR talent strategy. In this position, you will be responsible to manage a premium, scalable, and sustainable intern program for top, diverse university talent pipelines. Additionally, you'll serve as the primary facilitator for Interns throughout the duration of the program engagement ensuring the highest quality of service and guidance. You'll utilize your strong attention to detail and presentation/storytelling expertise to effectively communicate with the Intern cohort along with internal/external stakeholders. Your creativity and project management skills will also be utilized for the Intern program design and all aspects of program execution.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Intern Program Management
Design and facilitate a premium Intern experience for Undergraduate and Master’s/MBA level talent. This will include strategic end-to-end execution: Pre-Onboarding, Intern Project Assignments, Intern Orientation Experience (Day 1), and the 12-week internship program (speakers, workshops, social events, etc.)
Build and manage an annual project plan / workback schedule leveraging project management tools and techniques (i.e. MS Project, Smartsheet, Agile) to effectively manage deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget
Own large-scale event management plans and full scope coordination of Intern events and activations
Coordinate UR core teams to support execution of intern events, internship program logistics, technology, and procurement of intern equipment/materials

Learning & Development Acumen
Partner with Global L&D team to leverage and adapt Nike’s career development and leadership philosophy to build the internship program curriculum and framework alignment within Global UR
Develop scalable and sustainable trainings and workshops to support learning and development of diverse talent pipelines for the Intern program
Deliver impactful training sessions for Intern Managers and Peer Coaches for readiness and pre-onboarding
Leverage industry insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, inform decisions, and program competitiveness
Use survey tools and data analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI

Stakeholder Management & Engagement
Serve as a critical thought partner to the UR Leadership Team in developing and activating the internship program in service of key business priorities and the UR talent strategy
Work collaboratively with Nike Senior Leaders, Diversity & Inclusion, Community Impact, internal/external business partners, vendors, and various cross-functional teams to ensure integration of diverse programming, workshops, and events
Partner with Nike’s Employer Branding and Corporate Communications teams to ensure consistency and alignment of internal/external messaging, UR marketing, strategic communication plans/campaigns, event activations, and brand experiences

Bachelor’s degree or additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in University Relations, Talent Management, Talent Development or similar discipline in a large company, to include experience in program management for employees or university students at the Undergraduate and Master’s/MBA talent level
Relevant work experience in complex project management and building robust project plans
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, creating high quality presentations in PowerPoint or Apple Keynote, and project management software (i.e. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
Demonstrated ability to effectively plan brand events, guide multiple projects and competing priorities, while maintaining flexibility to shift priorities as needed to meet business goals
Excellent organizational/event planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with high attention to detail
High energy, experienced presenter/facilitator across multiple levels up to Senior Leaders
Ability to lead, guide, encourage and inspire as a Program Manager
Collaborative, open communicator, and effective relationship builder
Knowledge of adult learning concepts and best practices
Experiential learning and program design
Vendor management experience
Ability to travel up to 20%
