Marketing Director

Main Purpose

Leads and manage Nuts & Seeds brands (Mafer, Karate & Kacang), ensuring long term strategy alignment and maximizing profit and value creation, delivering P&L, SOM targets and innovation incrementality.

  • Experience and profile
  • Develop Brand strategic plans and budget requirements in alignment with PMF strategic imperatives of Nuts & Seeds segmentation and guidelines to be integrated in the ACP
  • Manage brand P&L (NOPBT) co-define profitability management strategy and improvement plan
  • Define copy, media and brand specific consumer promotions strategy and priorities
  • Promote Brand development (Advertising Awareness, Brand Adoption)
  • Local execution of global brand positioning for global brands and definition of brand positioning for local brands aligned with PMF's brand segment and guidelines defined by G's (if applicable)
  • Allocate revised A&M budgets across brands in alignment with brand segmentation guidelines
  • Define Refresh & Reframe innovation plan and budget
  • Define innovation strategy (big bets) aligned to Strategic Priorities and Brand Segmentation
  • Generate new product ideas/initiatives jointly with Brand Managers
  • Support long term portfolio strategy definition in alignment with company-wide strategy
  • Define breakthrough innovation plan and budget
  • Define brand and product portfolio in alignment with brand segmentation and corporate guidelines

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Seasoned executive with more than 10 years of experience in Marketing and Commercial roles
  • MBA required (MBA strongly preferred)
  • Proven record in delivering strategic change, results and customer expectations
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact and persuade a diverse group of Executive Leaders (Corporate and PMF)
  • Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine question, and influence multiple decision makers
  • Thought leadership and commercial implementation with a track record of developing and delivering high impact and successful consumer products strategies
  • Communication skills that are able to educate and influence management and senior leaders to act in a desired manner through written and verbal communication
  • Market driven/oriented
  • Proven record of manager quality
