In this role, you have the opportunity to

Elevate oral care as an important part of a daily health routine that can reduce the risk and severity of disease; while giving people the confidence of a healthy and bright smile.

You are responsible for

Formulates, as the competence owner, the future strategic directions for the respective product portfolio.
Determines the relevance of this product portfolio for Philips, assessing the value of new product and technology developments and identifying new opportunities for Philips.
Oversees the global product and technology developments in the domain that are relevant for the business, and determines the implications for the respective product portfolio.
Keeps abreast of market, competition, technical, application and societal developments in the domain, showing understanding of the Philips position and business interests.
Builds a worldwide external network related to the product portfolio, and makes this knowledge applicable for the business, now and in the future.
Is consulted as a senior product marketing specialist and asked for projects to investigate feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.
Coaches and manages a group of product managers working on the product portfolio and supporting them in their development.

You are a part of

A team of (sub) category dedicated marketing professionals reporting directly into the Sr. Consumer Marketing Director responsible for global Sonicare Power Toothbrush portfolio. The team brings a wealth of international experience: your peers have background in various parts of the ‘value chain’ bringing experience in ‘upstream’ marketing as well as ‘downstream’ experience e.g. from working in sales organizations or market communication. In your role as leader of multi-functional project teams you will closely interact with Commercial organizations, Innovation & Development team, Market Communication, Market Intelligence team, Supply Chain and in-/external Suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelors degree; MBA qualified in a relevant subject area (for example business/strategic marketing, economics) preferred
8+ years of experience in Brand Management/Product management with building a Brand Experience.
Prior commercial experience as a Brand Manager.
Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG); and demonstrated customer relationship skills, with the ability to work successfully in a matrix organization are preferred.
Experience with coaching and managing other product/brand managers
Your conceptual thinking, organizational and communication skills allow you to influence and motivate others
Your broad interest and ability to communicate with different ‘layers’ in the organization allows you to build and maintain extensive networks and ‘connect the dots’
Your highly entrepreneurial mindset and real aptitude for business motivate and inspires your environment and creates momentum behind your ideas
Your natural affinity for consumer health/ lifestyle products, and a consumer driven approach allows you to identify new opportunities and translate them into winning propositions.
International business experience preferred
