The role of Market Procurement is to assess, analyze and translate global commodity strategies into local market and/or country relevant solutions. Balancing between optimizing global leverage versus local relevancy. Focusing on reduction of cost of non-quality, first time right, driving innovation from suppliers and to achieve cost efficiencies. Enabling Philips to increase margins or increase competitiveness
Experience & Knowledge:
To lead the procurement of contingent resources category for India market and support execution of global strategy, working with suppliers for requirements related to contingent resources, outsourcing and third-party service delivery.
To lead the bids /RFQ process for SoW and T&M requirements related to contingent resources for India Market.
Coordinate with MSP (Managed Service Provider) for process implementation and monitor supplier performance.
Create and lead periodic supplier reviews along with MSP. Drive supplier performance issues to a satisfactory resolution.
Partner with business, functional leaders and global commodity leads to effectively manage contingent workforce sourcing, ensure procurement processes are effective and understood by stake holders.
Have previously worked in large IT company for sourcing contingent resources.
Experience of handling at least 20 -30 M Euro annual spend independently.

Should be able to challenge status quo with stake holders and bring out of box, disruptive thinking on board to get more ideas for cost productivity and supplier risk mitigation
High on influencing skills and should be able to steer thru¬í organizational challenges to achieve business and function goals
Knowledge of SAP, Ariba and tools like Fieldglass.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor¬ís in engineering/MBA from Premier Institutes
Experience of working in Global Environment
