Job Description

* Support and lead client projects on-site in national and international settings, from strategic concept development through to implementation.
* Assess and optimize product and process costs across the full product development lifecycle.
* Interpret and contribute to product development plans and translate technical requirements into cost engineering strategies.
* Leverage your engineering and design experience to work effectively with integrated, cross-functional teams.
* Collaborate with procurement functions and support cost-based negotiation strategies.
* Analyze and optimize product engineering solutions, with a focus on their integration and interdependencies.
* Apply cost engineering tools and methods to identify and implement cost improvement opportunities.
* Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes to understand cost implications for components and systems.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (with technical focus); an MBA is a plus.
* 4-7 years of experience in consulting or industry, ideally in development, production, or procurement roles.
* Strong technical foundation and expert-level knowledge in product engineering and cost management.
* Industry experience in automotive, off-highway, industrial goods, aerospace, or electronics is highly valued.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think analytically, creatively, and strategically.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including fluency in English.
* High degree of mobility and willingness to travel frequently.
* Passion for working on cost optimization projects and delivering measurable results.
