Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

* Design and oversee scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
* Architect data integration solutions across multiple systems
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
* Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability

Team Management

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ETL/Data Engineers
* Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
* Allocate tasks and manage sprint planning in Agile environment
* Support hiring and capability building within the team

Data & Platform Management

* Manage data warehousing solutions (Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery / etc.)
* Work with structured and unstructured data sources
* Ensure secure data handling and compliance standards
* Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and Data Science teams

Stakeholder Collaboration

* Work with business teams to understand data requirements
* Translate business needs into technical solutions
* Provide regular updates on project delivery and risks
Required technical skills
* Strong experience in ETL tools (Informatica / Talend / DataStage / ADF / etc.)
* Advanced SQL skills
* Experience with Python / Spark
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
* Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
* Understanding of data governance and security best practices
