Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Manager Market Research. The primary function of this position is to lead the Business market research in the collection; analysis; and presentation of such insights/guidance pertinent to the business's current and future Global product portfolio and strategies. An additional primary function of the position is to be a strong advocate for an analytically rigorous approach to strategic and tactical decision making for the division.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Ensure compliance with Corporate and Division Purchasing, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) and other applicable policies and procedures
Lead and guide the development and execution of qualitative and quantitative Primary Market Research among relevant stakeholders such as laboratory personnel and management, blood and plasma service management, new technology assessment committees, clinicians, allied health professionals and public private payors.
Ensure the most sophisticated and appropriate methodologies are used to ensure that the Business has the most comprehensive understanding of Global customer needs and market trends
Ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective methodologies are utilized across all Business Unit market research projects
Establish a productive work environment by creating trust and respect within the team and stakeholders.
Build related business case(s) to quantify impact of new opportunities within the business.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Education: Bachelors Degree (± 16 years). Preferred: Finance, Economics, Business, MBA.
Experience & Skills:
A minimum of 10 years working in a matrix environment with a track record of career growth.
Minimum 5 years in market research, advanced analytics, or marketing insights in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or related healthcare industry.
Strong analytical & communication skills as well as the ability to interact with senior levels of the organization and cross-functional teams.
Some global experience is highly preferred.
Note: This position needs to be located in Lake Forest, IL. No relocation support available.
