Amgenís Intercontinental Region represents over 1 billion people in countries across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Canada. A key priority for our region is to support our local teams as they prepare to launch products in Amgenís robust oncology pipeline. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated, self-starter to join our value and access team as a summer graduate intern. This exciting internship will provide you an excellent opportunity for broad international experience helping our regional oncology leads gather the information needed to strategically position Amgen oncology launch brands with payers.
You will have the opportunity to work on payer and reimbursement-oriented initiatives through 3 core components:
1. Payer landscape assessment: For key markets across the Intercontinental Region, conduct an assessment of specific oncology and hematology disease areas to deepen the teamís understanding of the access landscape and fill in knowledge gaps.
2. Payer competitive assessment: Using internal data sets, medical information and competitive intelligence, develop a slide deck that provides the team with a holistic view of key competitors impactful for our coming launch brands.
3. Payer dashboard development: In partnership with business analytics, understand what data is available for select emerging markets and use that data to develop a value and access-oriented dashboard that is data-driven, measurable and could be used to inform the success of select launch brands.
The project work will afford an opportunity to apply business acumen and experience to addressing real-time business opportunities. The results of this work will be formally delivered to internal stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship. This opportunity will also be combined with experiential learning and allow you to work closely with the regional team.
If this opportunity interests you, and you're driven to have a deeper meaning behind the job, we are ready for you to be part of the Amgen team!
