AICC, a division of Amphenol, is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM’s globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH or the Greater Boston area.
The BDM will work directly with the Group General Manager and be responsible for developing and executing our High Speed Products Group strategy to grow top line, raise profitability, and capture opportunities. This role is bi-lingual English/Mandarin and will work closely with Xgiga (our Optical Transceiver business located in Shenzhen, China – acquisition in late 2019, just before Covid impact to travel).
Actively collaborate with HSPG and APH relevant functions
Create growth-plan for HSPG
Support, monitor, and execute strategy at the global level
Drive value proposition and support alignment to market needs
Participate in all discussions with Xgiga leadership and Group GM:
o Translate Mandarin/English as needed
o Dive deep into business model/strategy
o Establish trusting relationship
Acquisition funnel management:
o Identify, visit, and characterize companies for acquisition
o Develop relationships with key managers and owners
o Partner with Amphenol Corporate Merger & Acquisition team
Lead Strategic Initiatives / support the organization:
o E.g.: Manufacturing transfer, Sourcing, Pollination, Acquisition integration, Exploration of new regions / new customers / new trends, Product & Technology promotion, Web presence / positioning, market studies, process improvement, sustainability
Visit customers, plants, and exhibitions
The BDM will be working on the above to help capitalize on profitable growth opportunities for the High Speed Products Group in particular and Amphenol in General.
This high-visibility role could be considered a transitional leadership role designed to cultivate Amphenol's next generation of leaders while offering future career development opportunities for successful candidates.
