General Description

The Leeds School of Business has a proud history. Formed in 1906 as part of the University of Colorado, Leeds is the eighth oldest business school in the United States.

The school took its name in 2001 following a transformational philanthropic gift that made social responsibility and ethics a hallmark of its curriculum and enhanced its program in sustainability. Through its identity, the Leeds School of Business recognizes the generosity of the Leeds family including Michael (’74) and Andrea Leeds, Richard (’75) Leeds and Andrea Kroeker, Gerard and Lilo Leeds, Dan and Sunita Leeds and their other siblings.

Leeds has put itself on a trajectory to become one of our nation’s preeminent business schools. Through a culture centered on integrity and excellence, Leeds is devoted to producing innovative, principled business leaders who are equipped to drive value, graduates who possess the analytical abilities and skills needed to succeed in a globally competitive marketplace, and students who are nurtured in academic programs by top-tier faculty and staff.

Today, the school enrolls more than 3,400 undergraduate and graduate students in degree programs that include areas of emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship as well as graduate programs in Full-Time MBA, Evening MBA and Master's in Accounting, Master's in Business Analytics, Master's in Finance, Master's in Real Estate Master's in Supply Chain Management. Leeds also offers a PhD program as well.

The University of Colorado Boulder campus provides an exciting, vibrant research environment, which infuses Leeds with the strengths of one of the nation’s great Association of American Universities institutions.
